THE government has announced tenders to engage consultants for the construction of the new Mtwara - Mbamba Bay railway.
The railway is planned to out-branch to Liganga and Mchuchuma mines via Songea. The Managing Director of the Tanzania Railway Asset Holding Company (RAHCO), Eng. Bernhard Tito, said the company had shortlisted 10 consultancy firms out of 22 that applied for feasibility studies."
