Egenco To Construct Dams To Ease Power Challenges: "Malawi's sole enrgy generating company EGENCO intends to tackle the challenge of low water levels by constructing dams.
The dams will be constructed from the rivers that feed into the Shire.
According to Moses Gwaza who is EGENCO's Senior Public Relations Manager,they are expected to start construction of the dams sometime next year."
