The Ministry of Energy says four companies have so far started investing in energy sector.
Principal Secretary in the Ministry Winfred Masanjala said this when he presented the report to the Parliamentary Committee on Budget and Finance recently.
The four companies have a potential to produce a combined 1,235 megawatts with much of the energy, 1,000 MW, to be produced by the Chinese Company China Gezhouba Group Company."
