Cotton Crop Promising In Malawi: "Cotton growers in Malawi are expecting high yields this year, cotton experts, who are projecting the high yield due to the increase in number of farmers, have told a radio in the country.
Chairperson of the Cotton Development Trust Patrick Khembo revealed that this year nearly half a million farmers are producing the cash crop, which on a higher sie than last year.
The chairperson told ZBS that the prevailing good rains which seem to be befitting for cotton growing will also necessitate the high yield.
