Australia-listed NuEnergy Gas has been awarded a prospecting licence over a 34,600 hectare block in Malawi by the nation’s government, the company has announced.
NuEnergy will search for coal bed methane and shale gas in licence EPL0360/12, located in the nation’s south, over a period of three years, the company told the Australian Securities Exchange.
