Mozambique approves EIS to build the second port in Nacala

APA-Maputo (Mozambique) Mozambique has approved an environmental impact study ordered by the Brazilian mining giant, Vale, to build a mineral seaport in Nacala-a Velha in the northern Mozambican province of Nampula, and a 200 km branch railway linking the coal mines of Moatize, in the western province of Tete, to Malawi, a senior government official said here Thursday.
