Vodacom Group Ltd. (VOD) began talks with Telekom Networks Malawi Ltd. (TNM) about buying a stake in the company, the Daily Times reported, citing people it didn’t identify.
Vodacom has previously expressed an interest in buying part of the Malawian company and TNM has been streamlining its operations to align with how Vodacom operates, the Blantyre- based newspaper said, without providing further details"

PERTH (miningweekly.com) − Uranium miner Paladin Energy has resumed production at its Kayelekera operation, in Malawi, following the upgrade work on its processing plant.

MD and CEO John Borshoff said on Friday that production was running in excess of 90% of capacity and that the ramp-up to nameplate capacity was expected to be reached in a relatively short period."
