Egenco says short-term energy solutions on course - The Nation Online: Electricity Generation Company of Malawi (Egenco) has assured the country of improved electricity supply following near completion of its short-term energy solutions.
Presently, the country is facing acute power supply challenges with hydro-electric generation capacity reduced to around 200 megawatts (MW) which is anchored by diesel-powered generators installed in the country’s three cities.
