Malawi Central Bank Sees Room to Cut Rates, Won’t Weaken Kwacha

March 30 (Bloomberg) -- Last year’s foreign currency shortages in Malawi have eased, lifting pressure on the central bank to weaken the kwacha any further and enabling it to cut interest rates, Governor Perks Ligoya said.
